A Fortress Street

Description

You are shoving your way past hideous beasts and ghastly monsters. A few strange animals serve as mounts for their owners as they pass you by, obviously uninterested in your coins, as it appears that gems and blood are the currency of transaction here. To the north, the high walls of the cavern rise above you to form a dome, while to the east and west, this street continues. To the south, however, you see a strange sort of establishment. It sounds as though the occupants of this city are gambling. Judging by the snarls, and the occasional flying body that soars out the door, it appears that many are losing.
