Description
This tunnel was probibly not constructed as part of the sewers but rather, you suspect, is older than the sewers and was perhaps used once as a cat- acomb. The ground and walls are not made of brick like the sewer system but are, instead, made of stone and clay. Judging from the amount of dust here, no one has been this way in a while. To the west, over a small ledge, you see the sewer system. East of here, this tunnel joins more like it.
