This is a large black pot fitted to a swivel on the castle wall, covered by a heavy lid. Within the deadly container is pitch, straw, tar, metal shards, bees' nests, and rancid feces, all slathered in animal grease. The dastardly pot is here to be set alight and dumped upon anyone who might reach as far as the walls themselves, with indubitably horrific effects.
