Noirwood Forest
You stand amidst the strong, mystical trees in the black forest the orcs
call Noirwood. The dark, strong trees in this vicinity seem to emit a foul-
smelling, brown-green dust. There are a few weird bushes on the soggy forest
floor around here. In this seemingly endless, dark forest the strong trees
seem to continue forever in every direction.

The wall forms its southeastern corner here, and the perimeter road bends
around to accommodate it. Standing at this junction, you wonder which came
first, this narrow road with its scuffed cobblestones, or the mighty wall
which towers above your head. There is a thick smog in the air here that
carries the smell of burning pitch. The perimeter road continues to the north
and to the west.

Temple of the Cross
The city's citizens file in to this large open pavilion once a week for
mandatory worship, but now it is quiet except for some battered adventurers
and their healers. The main temple and the altar are to your north. To
the south lies the city's main road, and sounds of the crowds there float
into this quiet place.
